Dr. Ning Xu selected as DIA Fellow Class of 2020
SHANGHAI, China, and SAN FRANCISCO, April 27, 2020 – Ning Xu, M.D., Executive Vice President, Head of Clinical and Regulatory of Zai Lab has been selected by the DIA (Drug Information Association) Board of Directors and the Fellows of DIA as a member of the DIA Fellows Class of 2020.
DIA is a global non-profit association with over 10,000 members across 80 countries. Its mission is to foster innovation to improve health and well-being. Every year, the DIA Board of Directors and the Fellows of DIA formally recognize a small number of individuals who demonstrate substantial contributions to DIA’s mission. The designation, Fellow of DIA, is an honorary title bestowed on less than 1% of DIA’s membership that recognizes the service and achievements of long-term, highly engaged DIA members. It is a recognition of significant participation, achievement, and contribution. Fellows of DIA have demonstrated active support of the advancement of health care and the health care products arena through leadership roles for a minimum of 15 years and have proven engagement in DIA in a key volunteer leadership role that supported a major DIA project or initiative.
Ning Xu, M.D., has been Zai Lab’s Executive Vice President, Clinical Operations and Regulatory Affairs since 2014. Ning has almost 30 years’ experience in clinical development area. Prior to joining Zai Lab, he served as head of clinical development in multiple multi-national corporations. Dr. Xu holds a medical degree from Peking Union Medical College and a MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Xu also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of lllinois at Chicago Medical School. Between 2011 and 2015, he was the Chairman of the Advisory Council of DIA China and a director of DIA Global.
